I searched a long time for the perfect counter top bar stool for our new island in the kitchen, that is a soapstone counter top, and knotty alder cabinets. They look perfect, the wood is natural looking, and the brushed metal compliments the appliances. Plus, they are sturdy.

We just went through a kitchen remodel and added bar style seating. With our new stainless appliances and maple cabinets, finding these bar chairs to compliment them was just perfect. They look great and are safe for our kids to climb up on and use. They are heavy enough that they don't tip over and are very sturdy. We love them.

We have two pairs - one pair at the kitchen counter & one pair in the game room (pub height). We recently moved & they withstood the movers with ease. We've had them for several years & have had no problems. They are very sturdy and very attractive.

A very good quality piece of furniture! I purchased these barstools for an extra high island counter and they have definitely fit the bill. They are heavy but they stay where you put them - no sliding or tipping. Excellent foot bar that doesn't scuff or scratch like wood does. Quite comfortable without a pad and the 360 swivel is a definite plus! All in all a very good value.
