This attractive retro stool offers an extensive selection of seat fabrics and vinyl to choose from. Retro back to the Fabulous Fifties! While this bar stool is amazingly modern looking within its initial inspection, its basic design is extremely retro which allows this bar stool to give off a very unique impression. Not only is it very special in its aesthetic appearance, it is also very comfortable, with a supportive back panel.

This order came TWO chairs for the price of one and was the best bargain on the Internet. I was thrilled that this chair came in only two pieces---super-simple assembly was a blessing. Construction is solid and sturdy. I adore the design (my first piece of non-traditional-style furniture) and the fern-green color I picked unifies the plant-filled family room and the green-and-blue kitchen since they reside at the kitchen island in the middle. CONS: [...] And our backsides are taking a beating from the rock-hard seats, which I doubt will ever "break in" and stop being so darn unpleasant to sit on. My husband might reupholster them for this reason.

We bought four of these three years ago. They still look and feel like new in our basement bar. My only complaint is that the seat is so hard that you just can't sit comfortably in them for too long. The seats could use better padding. I've been threatening to take them to an upolsterer or just attempt it myself. Do you think the manufacturer would contact me and do it for free?!?!?

We had been looking for something sturdy for our kitchen island, but couldn't find color we liked with padding on both seat and back. This is both. My son can sit comfortably and work on homework while I prepare dinner. They are easy to clean after the grandchildren come and spill, drop on them. I don't worry about them tipping with the kids. The only con would be that some of the holes did not line up when putting the stools together. But not enough to stop me from ordering 2 more stools today.
