Comments:
I ordered the "light pine finish" because it seemed to best match other wood in our kitchen area. (Not an extra charge like other finishes offered) However the table has no sealer. I would describe it as similar to an unfinished piece. What little finish color that was added dissolved when I applied a sealer. I am having problems with uneven absorbsion but hope that will eventually work out with more coats. The drawers were listed in the web site specifications as 19.75 x 14. I measured and determined that they would be just right to store place mats, paid extra for two drawers which are actually 16 x 14 and essentially useless to us. I feel cheated on this. The term "Country Table" I suppose implies a rustic home-made look, the edges, especially the corners, do look home-made.
